Dear Reader,
I know how you love Anzac biscuits, so i’m including here the recipe that we use to make ours (shown).
Ingredients
125 grams butter, melted
1 tablespoon golden syrup
1 teaspoon bicarb soda
2 tablespoons water, boiling
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup coconut
1 cup plain flour
1 cup sugar
1 Remembrance Poppy, for garnish
Method
Mix oats, flour, sugar, and coconut.
Mix (separately) golden syrup, bicarb soda, and water; while still frothing, add melted butter and pour into dry ingredients.
Mix well.
Drop in spoonfuls onto baking paper on tray.
Bake for 18 – 20 minutes at 160 degrees Celsius.
Biscuits will become firmer as they cool, once removed from oven.
Hope that works out for you, dear Reader.
Yours,
Gullybogan
