That time of the month Saturday 080524~09:07

Dear Reader,
My posts and social interactions have been a bit spotty over the last week, mainly due to it being that time of the month.
You know what i mean – your internet usage meter is sitting at 98%, and internet activity as slight as visiting the front page of the The Age will slam you into the granite walled cliff-face of speed limiting.
I’m not sure how this happened. One minute everything was fine, and usage (by which they mean ‘use’) was sitting merrily at about the same amount of usage we’d made of days in the month, and then…
BAM!
Presumably automatic updates decided to download twelve gigabytes of new sample pictures for the My Pictures folder, or something.
So now i can only interweb on weekend mornings, what with my doctor insisting that i spend the hours between midnight and seven a of the m sleeping, and with Mr Widget insisting that i spend the weekday hours of seven a of the m to nightfall slaving in his widget factory, i have little or no time left in the week, dear Reader, for interweb shenanigans.
Plus, Princess needs to usage the interwebs on weekend mornings, too, to run her global charitable empire.
So i get to interweb while she’s having breakfast.
Which she’s just finishing now.
Ah, me.
But enough of my guts-aching. I just wanted to explain that i still exist, dear Reader, and that as soon as it’s June, i’ll be back to my normal level of bloggity activity. Whatever that is.
Until then, you might like to tide yourself over with this morning’s post about some Absinthe Rhubarb Princess and me cooked up the other day.
Yours,
Gullybogan
