Dear Reader,

Like you, i have a Flickr account.

Unlike you, my photos are generally crap, utilitarian snapshots taken to serve as some sort of documentation of this or that.

They are certainly not the works of art that you and other talented Flickr account holders are producing.

Well, you and the other non-crap Flickr account holders will be pleased to learn that Flickr is now providing a great, easy, new, simple way to Sell Out To The Man™.

How? you ask.

Does it matter?

Well, since you ask, they will have agents in the crowd, looking through Flickr for shots that are suitable for use in magazines and ads.

Because it’s not really art until you can sell it, is it, dear Reader?

I wonder how Flickr’s red dot fever will affect the quality of shots that ppl are posting.

I know how it will affect the quality of my shots. Oh, boy, yes i do.

And i wonder if someone needs to have a PRO (pay) account for their images to be considered.
