Something unbelievable is happening.
Petrol is loitering around a dollar a litre.
I find it cruelly ironic that whereas the deaths of thousands of Amexican soldiers and tens of thousands of Civilians of Middle Eastern Appearance couldn’t lower the price of petrol, the collapse of Capitalism could.
Who’d a thunk it?
Just on an historical note: i remember buying petrol at this site for 38c a litre, and commenting to Princess that (a) it was a little high and (b) we were never likely to see petrol for 37c a litre again.
That was before this site stopped being a petrol station and became a department of one of the hundreds of local supermarkets.
I wonder if there’s a connection.
Probably not.
