Dear Reader,

This is not to suggest that she’s in the business of providing hand jobs to stressed corporate executives. Oh, no.

She’s back safely at home with mater and pater.

We haven’t got the full details, but apparently Sunday morning she turned up with a bad cold and no shoes, and she and her mother achieved reconciliation, right there on the doorstep.

Which is lovely for everyone.

Apparently they cried and hugged and then, after a hearty meal of fatted calf, they went off to church together.

Princess and the mater had a chinwag on the tellingbone, and there are now RULES for Missy to follow, and BOUNDARIES, because she needs such things to keep her on the tracks, and to help her resist the temptation to hop off the tracks everynow and then to go and play in amongst the buttercups.

So let’s see how that turns out, shall we?
