Looks like we have to have terrorgasms about the heat now.

A reporter from The Age went down and filmed some interesting sorts on Melbourne’s Kerferd Road [topless] beach about how they thought it best to keep cool.

Seems the solution to being hot this weekend is to go to the beach. Oh, yes. The beach is the place to be. Mm-hmm. Especially if you ask people who are sitting on a beach.

This is actually a Surfer’s Paradise beach,
in case you were planning on booking a flight

Kerferd Road [topless] beach is our preferred local beach. It’s about an hour’s drive away.

An hour’s drive through sticky, hot, sweaty, ugly urban landscapes, where everyone in their cars is one microsecond away from baseball-bat road rage.

Then, when you get there, you have to find somewhere to park. Parking is generally ticketed, with a 15 minute limit.

Parking in side streets is a great option; doing so will enable you to see your car being towed away, if you don’t have a local resident’s parking permit.

So.

I’ll go straight away and get Princess and Tess to tog up and we’ll go to the beach to cool down and relax…

Getting naked/near-naked beneath the blazing sun
sure equals cooling and relaxing

…or we could sit in our air-conditioned home theatre and catch up on Flashforward…

Tough choice.
